Genuine feedback from local homeowners and fellow tradespeople who rely on Paul for honest advice, tidy workmanship, and fair pricing.
Paul was conscientious, hard working and efficient with work to a very high standard. Keeping us informed of progress and developments through out especially during the persistent rain storms. Replacing the membrane, batons and reusing the existing tiles was not easy during the inclement weather, his system of work enabled him to continue throughout. Very happy with the finished roof and have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking for a roofer
Paul had already done some jobs for me in the past and I naturally called him to fix & repair a couple of things with my roof. All completed as expected.
Paul and his team arrived at the arranged time and informed me of exactly what they was doing and why, every step of the way. He and his team were friendly, polite and considerate throughout, and the work done to a very high standard. Thankyou Paul.
New flat roof. Clean tidy workmanship. Thank you for a good job done.
Paul Smith and 1further worker arrived early, discussed options fully, kept me informed at each stage of the work and provided before and after pictures. They were friendly, polite and hardworking. I thoroughly recommend this company.
Paul turned up soon after I contacted him and Identified the problem. We then received the quote and agreed a date to do the job. Paul's team turned up on time and job completed quickly. I was shown photos of the work being done. Job looked good when finished and all left neat and tidy.
Paul was very friendly and open to chatting about our situation and giving us his professional opinion. After viewing the property he provided a really honest and comprehensive report on what he found. Trustworthy, responsive and well priced.
I only met Paul once (he was working on the house we own where my son lives). Could not fault him in any way. Any time I texted or called him he came back to me really quickly. My daughter in law commented on the politeness of Paul and his colleagues. They were particularly thoughtful when a neighbour (a nurse) mentioned that she was on nights, they made more effort to keep noise to a minimum - clearing the roof of tiles. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.
Super helpful when our extension roof sprung a leak and he came round on the same day. Pin pointed the problem straight away. Took photos from on the roof, with my phone, to show me the problem and did some emergency repairs for us ... peace of mind so thank you. Friendly but totally not pushy, he explained loads of options and clearly knew what he was talking about. Not a rip off with price either. Would use again and would 100% recommend.
Paul was very helpful and completed the work in the agreed timescales at the agreed price. It was good to be able to rely on his considerable expertise in all aspects of the work as this meant less worry for us at a difficult time. The roofs were slated with new slates and the ridge tiles replaced with new interlocking ridges. The whole job went smoothly and Paul kept us informed of his work schedule. There were no site issues to deal with and no problems with the weather during the work. We are very pleased with the work undertaken by AP Smith Roofing Ltd.
I am a plumber and have used paul many times. He is always punctual, efficient, cost effective and always gets the job done to the highest standard. I would never hesitate to use him and would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you Paul.
The work involved removal of the old guttering and wooden facia boards on two semi detached houses and replacing them with plastic facia boards and new guttering. The work was part of an full roof replacement job. The work was done to a high degree of professional finish and was not just a cover over type job but a full replacement of the items. There were no on site problems and the work was done within the timescale and budget and we are more than happy to recommend AP Smith Ltd to anyone.
Paul stripped the old felt off plus ridge tiles and replaced with new triple felt. The underlying ply was in very good condition so was not changed. The whole job was completed in just under 2 days and was fantastic. There was no mess left after the work was completed and no problems during the works. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul's company for any work of this type.
Spent time going through options, no pressure to use the service, excellent timing ,excellent service, solved leak in roof. Brilliant.
Paul arrived on short notice within 10 mins, checked where leak was coming from straight up the ladder saw the problem and replaced straight away. Brilliant!
Very efficient, estimated of 4 days work, they finish in 2 days! Paul is very flexible and willing to work around customer's schedule and request. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with him. Less so on the scaffolding company. There were couple of tiny holes on the newly laid felt, but I supposed that is just me being perfectionist and picky.
Very happy with the work that was carried out. Would recommend.
